The Beats Studio3 Wireless are wireless over-ear headphones developed by Beats Electronics and marketed through Apple Inc. Announced in September 2017 and released in the following October, it succeeded the Beats Studio Wireless, which shared the design of the 2nd-generation Beats Studio wired headphones.

Unlike previous generations of Beats Studios, there is no wired-only version of the Studio3 Wireless. However, it does include a 3.5 mm audio input port and a black RemoteTalk Cable for optional wired operation.

Description[]

The exterior design of the Studio3 Wireless is mostly unchanged from the previous Studio Wireless, but the audio drivers and internal electronics have been updated to improve sound quality. It incorporates Apple's W1 wireless chip, which helps to nearly double battery life to allow it to operate wirelessly for up to 22 hours with noise cancelling turned on, or up to 40 hours with noise cancelling turned off. The Fast Fuel feature provides 3 hours of battery life with only 10 minutes of charging.[1][2]

History[]

In February 2019, Beats introduced the Studio3 Wireless NBA Collection, with the headphones available in colors representing the teams of the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Toronto Raptors.[3]
