Beats Solo3 Wireless is the current wireless iteration of the Beats Solo line of on-ear headphones developed by Beats Electronics and marketed through Apple Inc.

History[]

The Solo3 Wireless was announced on September 7, 2016 and became available for pre-order on the same day.[1]

The headphones feature the same exterior design as the Beats Solo² Wireless, but with new electronics featuring Apple's W1 wireless chip, drastically increasing battery life from 12 to 40 hours. However, like the previous model, a Beats USB Cable connects through USB Micro-B for charging. The Fast Fuel feature provides 3 hours of battery life with only 5 minutes of charging. It also includes a 3.5 mm port for optional wired operation.[2][3]
