BeatsX Lightning to USB Cable 6in

A 6-inch Lightning to USB Cable.

The BeatsX feature the Apple W1 wireless chip, which help provide up to 8 hours of battery life per charge. The Fast Fuel feature allows just 5 minutes of charging to provide 2 hours of playback time. The magnetic earpieces are tethered through a "Flex-Form" cable and featured Apple's proprietary Lightning port for charging. A 6-inch Lightning to USB Cable was included.[1][2]

History[]

The BeatsX were announced in 2016 for a fall release. However, the official release was delayed until February 10, 2017 — some Apple Stores in the United States had received early inventory a few days prior to that.[3] They were initially available in black, blue, gray, and white. All the colors except black were later replaced by a satin silver version.

On October 13, 2020, the BeatsX earphones were replaced by the lower-priced Beats Flex.[4]
